Khartoum: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Omar Mohamed Ahmed Siddig, received the Director of the Central African Intelligence Service, Mr. Henri Wanzet, along with his delegation, in his office on Thursday.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting focused on discussing and enhancing bilateral relations between Sudan and the Central African Republic. Mr. Wanzet began the discussion by congratulating Ambassador Siddig on his recent appointment as the Foreign Minister.
Ambassador Siddig highlighted Sudan’s crucial role in promoting peace in the Central African Republic, emphasizing that stability in the region would benefit both nations. He reiterated Sudan’s commitment to supporting the Central African Republic’s stability.
Mr. Wanzet expressed his pleasure at visiting Sudan and noted that his visit was under the directives of the President of the Central African Republic. He stressed the importance of strengthening the relationship between the two countries, indicating a mutual interest in developing cooperation across various sectors.
