Khartoum: Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim, on Sunday took part in the 165th ordinary session of the Arab League Council ministerial meeting, held via videoconference. The session focused on addressing Iran's violations of the sovereignty of certain Arab states.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the meeting, the Minister expressed Sudan's solidarity with the affected governments and peoples, emphasizing Sudan's commitment to supporting Arab national security in line with relevant Arab and international charters and treaties. He called for a renewal of Arab strategic concepts, particularly concerning Arab national security.
The Minister further highlighted Sudan's role in preventing extremist and militant infiltration into Arab and African regions. He stressed that this role necessitates collective support and reinforcement from other Arab nations.
