Khartoum: Deputy Chief of Staff for Training, Lt. Gen. Khalid Abdeen Ahmed Al-Shami, held a significant meeting with the Blue Nile State Higher Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance and leaders of the Native Administration. The discussions, aimed at strengthening cooperation and addressing regional security concerns, took place with key figures including Committee Chairman Dr. Farah Ibrahim Al-Aggar and Paramount Chief Al-Mak Al-Fatih Youssef Hassan Adlan.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting also saw the participation of Major General Ismail Al-Tayib Hussein, Commander of the 4th Infantry Division, and Major General Ibrahim Ahmed Omar, Director of the General Intelligence Service, alongside several other Armed Forces officers. Dr. Farah Al-Aggar provided an update on the Popular Resistance’s contributions to the Battle of Dignity, highlighting their collaboration with the 4th Infantry Division.
Dr. Al-Aggar emphasized the alignment of state institutions, the Native Administration, and local citizens in their efforts against external threats, specifically targeting the expulsion of the Janjaweed militia. He affirmed the Popular Resistance’s commitment to operating under the Armed Forces to achieve regional stability.
