Khartoum: The governor of the Darfur Region, Minni Arko Minawi, has affirmed the readiness of the mobilized forces and stressed the importance of unity and support for the popular resistance. In a recent meeting held at his office, Governor Minawi, who also serves as the General Supervisor of the Joint Force, engaged with the Higher Committee for Mobilization and Recruitment in Darfur Region, led by Police Lieutenant General Issa Adam Ismail. The meeting focused on evaluating mobilization efforts, field preparations, and enhancing joint coordination.
According to Sudan News Agency, the governor received a detailed briefing on the committee's activities and the preparedness level of the forces. Discussions also covered key administrative and technical challenges faced by the Supreme Committee and training camps, along with proposed solutions to ensure efficient and effective operations.
The head of the Supreme Committee for Mobilization and Recruitment assured that the mobilized personnel have undergone intensive military training and are fully prepared for deployment in accordance with the established operational plans.
Governor Minawi commended the efforts of the Higher Committee for Mobilization and Recruitment in overcoming challenges and reaffirmed the state's commitment to resolving issues faced by the committee and training camps. He emphasized the continued execution of national duties to achieve the desired objectives.
Furthermore, Governor Minawi acknowledged the successes of the Armed Forces, Joint Forces, Popular Resistance, and mobilized forces in countering the Rapid Support Forces militia. He called for enhanced cohesion and coordination among the regular forces, Popular Resistance, and mobilized forces to strengthen national unity and achieve security and stability in the region.
The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining a united front, integrating official and popular efforts, and advancing towards the protection of citizens, preserving regional unity, and restoring stability and normalcy in Darfur.
