Civil Service Conference Concludes with Key Recommendations in Portsudan

Port Sudan: The Civil Service Conference concluded its sessions on Wednesday at the Red Sea State’s Government Secretariat headquarters in Portsudan under the slogan “Towards an Effective and Sustainable Civil Service.”

According to Sudan News Agency, the conference issued several recommendations on topics such as labor and civil service policies, labor and civil service legislation, the labor market, training and employment, and administrative reform.

The event also honored several civil service leaders for their contributions to revitalizing and developing the civil service. Honorees included General Malik Agar, Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), and Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Ghali, TSC Secretary-General. Other notable figures recognized were Dr. Graham Abdel-Gadir, Undersecretary of Culture, the late Mahmoud Sir Al-Khatim Al-Hori, former Minister of Education, the family of the late Adil Hassan Mohamed Hussein, former Minister of Communications, Haider Mohamed Kabson, former Minister of Labor, Hussein Siddig Mohamed Ahmed, former Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, the late Abdel-Rahman Haidoub, former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, the family of the late Mohamed Saeed, former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Minerals, and Abdullah Ibrahim Ali, Undersecretary of Finance.

In conclusion, the Minister of Labor submitted the recommendations to Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Malik Agar.
