Armed Forces Near Success in Reopening Kadugli Route

Agar: Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Agar, announced that the Armed and Supporting Forces are on the verge of reopening the road to Kadugli. He noted that the forces are merely meters away from achieving this significant goal. Agar highlighted the recent victories in Kordofan, including the liberation of the town of Al-Dibaibat in South Kordofan State.

According to Sudan News Agency, Agar made these remarks while addressing a workshop on the amendment of the Press and Publications Act in Port Sudan on Monday. He explained that Kadugli has endured harsh conditions, being trapped between the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) al-Hilu faction. Agar confirmed that the reopening of the road to Kadugli is imminent, ensuring that relief efforts will soon reach those in need to ease their suffering.
