Khartoum: In a meeting held on Sunday, the Minister of Culture and Information, who also serves as the government spokesman, Khalid Al-Aiser, met with Al-Tom Hajo, the Head of the Central Track. During their discussion, Al-Tom Hajo expressed admiration for the unwavering spirit of the Sudanese people in their support of the armed forces and leadership, notably General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, in what has been termed the Battle of Dignity.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Tom Hajo emphasized the ongoing commitment to reclaiming every part of the country from the control of rebel militias. He articulated a vision of continued victories, mentioning specific regions such as El-Fashir, Nyala, and Zalingei as targets for liberation from the militia’s hold.
Al-Tom Hajo condemned the militia’s attacks on civilian infrastructure, particularly the use of drones in Portsudan, asserting that such actions would not weaken the resolve of the Sudanese people. He reiterated the national support for the army and the leader
ship, emphasizing the collective determination to overcome any form of aggression.
He also underscored the necessity of internal unity, urging collective efforts to strengthen the social fabric of the nation. Al-Tom Hajo called for a concerted fight against hate speech and emphasized the need to protect the community from divisive forces.
In his statement, Al-Tom Hajo acknowledged the pivotal role of the media in supporting the efforts and narrative of the Battle of Dignity, highlighting its influence in the ongoing struggle.
