Khartoum: The Head of the National Movement Forces Alliance, Dr. Al-Tijani Sisi, has expressed his support for the appointment of a Prime Minister with full powers, viewing it as a significant step toward improving executive performance in the country.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Sisi emphasized the importance of unity among national forces to back the new government led by Dr. Kamil Idris. He urged collective efforts to enable the government to fulfill its responsibilities and meet the expectations of the Sudanese populace.
Dr. Sisi highlighted the challenges the country has faced due to an executive vacuum since April 25, 2022, which has adversely affected state institutions. He called for solidarity to navigate through this critical period effectively.
