Al Jazeera State Governor Urges Documentation of Dignity War and State’s Rich History

Madani: Professor Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, Governor of Al Jazeera State, has called on creative individuals to document the Dignity War and highlight the state’s illustrious history. The governor emphasized the solidarity, mutual support, compassion, and cohesion within the Al Jazeera community, commending the honorable national history of Madani’s notable figures and their contributions.

According to Sudan News Agency, during a social visit to several icons and notables in Madani, including Mayor Mohamed Taha Siddiq Shagdi, coach Sheikh Mohamed Hamed, and poet Jamal Abdel Rahim, who is also the Secretary General of the Gezira Creative Artists Union, the governor reiterated the importance of documenting the Dignity War. He advocated for the establishment of a fund to support creative individuals in arts, sports, and culture, highlighting the enduring legacy of Gezira’s sports stars in the hearts of the Sudanese people.

Mayor Mohamed Taha Shaqdi expressed his delight with the governor’s visit, praising his commitment to normalizing life and providing essential services. He called for increased provision of water and electricity services in the area.

Captain Sheikh Mohammed Hamed highlighted the exceptional history of Madani clubs in national competitions, underscoring their significant contributions to the region’s legacy. Poet Jamal Abdel Rahim shared his pride and gratitude for the governor’s support and recognition of creative artists in Al Jazeera State.
