Khartoum: Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism, Khalid Al-Eisir, affirmed that the lives and blood of the sons and daughters of the Sudanese people are a sacred trust borne by all, and must never become a subject of bargaining that serves neither the victims nor the nation.
According to Sudan News Agency, in a post on his X account, Al-Eisir stated that national responsibility requires positions to align with the will of the people, who have shouldered the full burden of this war. He stressed that every effort must be directed toward achieving their interests and aspirations, for it is the people who hold the legitimate and sole right to determine the future of their country and to bring an end to their suffering.
He added that while Sudan is a homeland for all its citizens, its revival will depend on the dedication of sincere individuals-those who place the public interest above all else and fulfill their national duties with honesty, integrity, transparency, and clarity in service to the nation and its people.
