River Nile: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, visited citizens displaced from Eastern Al-Gezira to River Nile State. These individuals were subjected to severe violations and assaults by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia led by Al-Dagalo.
According to Sudan News Agency, General Al-Burhan assessed the level of services provided to the displaced persons, including shelter, food, and medical treatment. He emphasized the commitment of state institutions to support these citizens by ensuring their safety and stability. Al-Burhan pledged to utilize all available resources to provide the best services possible to the displaced individuals.
Additionally, Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan instructed the Ministry of Social Development and other relevant institutions to take necessary measures to enhance the living conditions of those displaced from Eastern Al-Gezira, aiming to alleviate their suffering.
