He was accompanied by TSC Member, Assistant Commander-in-Chief General Yassir Abdel-Rahman Hassan Al-Atta, and the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza.

According to Sudan News Agency, His Excellency and the accompanied delegation were received by Father Yohanna Anthony, priest of St. George’s Church and St. Mina Church. During the visit, Al-Burhan met with a number of priests and listened to a report detailing the damages inflicted on the Coptic Church.
