Khartoum: In a recent post on Platform X, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, declared that it is impossible for civilians to live in areas occupied by the Al-Dagalo militia. Al-Burhan emphasized that civilians are consistently fleeing regions where the militia is present.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Burhan highlighted that individuals forcibly displaced from locations such as El-Fashir, Bara, and Al-Nuhud have chosen to avoid territories controlled by the militia, including Nyala, Al-Fula, and other areas in Darfur and West Kordofan. Instead, these civilians have opted to undertake arduous journeys spanning thousands of kilometers to reach regions under state and government control, where they can find safety and essential resources. Al-Burhan asserted that this exodus underscores the unviability of living alongside the Al-Dagalo militia, which he labeled as criminal.
