Port Sudan: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, returned to Sudan on Wednesday evening following an official one-day visit to the Republic of South Sudan. His arrival at Portsudan International Airport was met by Member of the Sovereignty Council General Engineer Ibrahim Jabir Ibrahim, TSC Secretary-General Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Gali Ali Youssef, and several ministers.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the visit, the TSC held bilateral talks with the South Sudanese leadership, including President Salva Kiir Mayardit and First Vice-President Riek Machar. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring avenues for joint cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
General Al-Burhan was accompanied by key officials, including Minister of Energy and Oil Dr. Mohi-Eddin Naeem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, and Director General of the Genera
l Intelligence Service General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
