Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has underscored the urgent need to reassess civil service laws, highlighting the detrimental impact caused by the multiplicity and frequent changes of these laws on the state.
According to Sudan News Agency, General Al-Burhan, while addressing the opening session of the Civil Service Conference organized by the Ministry of Labor and Administrative Reform under the theme “Towards an Effective and Sustainable Civil Service,” emphasized the importance of adhering to administrative regulations and laws in the forthcoming phase. He insisted that civil service workers must adapt to modern administrative techniques to prevent the sabotage of state institutions and protect their property.
In his speech, Al-Burhan paid tribute to the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity, applauding the sacrifices made by the armed forces, their supporting forces, and the mobilized forces for the honor and dignity of the Sudanese people. He
refuted circulating claims that the ongoing conflict targets specific races or ethnicities, labeling such assertions as falsehoods. He clarified that the battle is against the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and their armed collaborators. Al-Burhan urged citizens to disregard these lies, affirming that the armed forces represent all Sudanese people without discrimination based on background or tribe.
He further highlighted a recent incident in the Salha area, south of Omdurman, where the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia committed a heinous crime against civilians. Al-Burhan stressed the commitment of the armed forces to continue the battle for dignity until victory is achieved.
Al-Burhan also dismissed rumors about Islamists waging war from Portsudan as baseless, asserting that the armed forces are national entities devoid of partisanship or narrow affiliations. He reiterated that their fight is solely for the safety and security of the nation and its citizens.
