Al-Aiser: Minister of Culture and Information Khalid Al-Aiser has affirmed that the country was witnessing a historic day with the arrival of Dr. Kamil Idris, the new Prime Minister, who inaugurates a new phase in the history of Sudanese political life.
According to Sudan News Agency, in press statements during Dr. Kamil’s reception at Port Sudan Airport on Thursday, Al-Aiser said, “We welcome Dr. Kamil Idris on behalf of the government and the people of Sudan, wishing him success in his endeavors to achieve security and reassurance for the Sudanese people.”
He added, “This new phase represents a glimmer of hope and the inauguration of a new era characterized by all the signs of the desired civilian democratic transition.”
He added, “We are promised goodness, security, and reassurance in this new phase, and we wish the Sudanese people all the best and prosperity.”
