Port Sudan: Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Aggar, has reviewed the overall situation in North Kordofan State, focusing particularly on the educational, economic, and societal aspects, as well as efforts to meet the essential needs of citizens.
According to Sudan News Agency, during a meeting held in his office in Portsudan on Wednesday with the Wali (governor) of North Kordofan State, Abdel-Khalig Abdel-Latif, Commander Aggar was briefed on the preparations underway for the Sudanese Certificate exams, which are scheduled to begin on December 28. The TSC Vice President has instructed the North Kordofan State government to ensure that all necessary requirements are met and to address any technical and administrative challenges that may impede the educational process and the exam commencement in the state.
The discussions also covered the current situation in North Kordofan and the strategic plans to develop the state’s infrastructure and rehabilitate its services
for the post-war period. This includes implementing development, investment, and service projects to boost the region’s growth.
Governor Abdel-Khalig Abdel-Latif stated in a press briefing that the meeting addressed the overall state situation, efforts to ensure security, stability, and peace, and the state government’s readiness for the upcoming exams. The governor highlighted the ambitious plans, programs, and projects designed to attract investment to the region. He also mentioned that the TSC Vice President emphasized the importance of developing integrated projects and strategic plans to stimulate the state’s economy and achieve significant development and economic progress.
