Khartoum: The 26th Press Conference of the Ministry of Culture and Information, organized by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), is set to host the Transitional Sovereignty Council’s (TSC) Advisory for Organizations and Humanitarian Action on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the conference hall of the TSC General-Secretariat.
According to Sudan News Agency, the press conference will focus on outlining the general guidelines for humanitarian aid within the country. This is a crucial meeting aimed at addressing pressing humanitarian needs and coordinating efforts among various stakeholders.
The conference will feature prominent speakers, including Lt. Gen. Al-Sadig Ismail Mahmoud, Advisor to the TSC for Organizations and Humanitarian Action. Joining him will be Ambassador Kamal Bashir Ahmed, Director of the Peace and Humanitarian Affairs Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with Ms. Salwa Adam Biniya, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid.
An open invitation has been extended to all international and regional organizations, agencies, and bodies with accreditation in Sudan. Additionally, all media outlets in the country have been invited to participate in this significant event.
