Khartoum: Minister of Youth and Sports, Prof. Ahmed Adam Ahmed, participated on Sunday in the First International Conference on Psychological and Physical Rehabilitation for Survivors of Disasters and Wars, held virtually.
According to Sudan News Agency, the conference was organized by the Development Experts Academy for Training and Consultancy in partnership with the Arab Association of Sport Psychology and the Sudanese Association for Physical Education and Sports Sciences. Prof. Ahmed attended as a guest of honor alongside numerous specialists and experts, with the conference being chaired by its Executive Director, Dr. Saleem Al-Kamali.
During the event, Prof. Ahmed reaffirmed the Ministry of Youth and Sports' commitment to supporting scientific initiatives and specialized programs aimed at the rehabilitation of individuals affected by wars and disasters. He highlighted the importance of enhancing collaboration with academic and professional bodies to foster community resilience and aid recovery and reconstruction efforts.
