Port sudan: Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Agar, has praised the roles played by popular bodies and coordination committees in the Battle of Dignity to defend the homeland and protect its lands. During a meeting at his office in Port Sudan with a delegation from the Masalit Popular Committee in Sudan, headed by Mohamed Abdullah Al-Doma, he emphasized the necessity of joint efforts and coordination to strengthen national unity and community building in West Darfur State.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Vice-Chancellor of El-Geneina University, Professor Al-Tayib Ali Ahmed, who was a member of the delegation, explained that the meeting focused on significant Sudanese issues, particularly the situation in West Darfur State and El-Geneina. The discussions highlighted the importance of participating in reconstruction efforts in the upcoming phase. Professor Ahmed stated that the delegation expressed full support for the state’s leadership in the Battle of Dignity and efforts to rebuild and provide services. They also showed solidarity with the issues faced by displaced individuals and refugees in Chad.
The Vice-Chancellor further noted that the TSC Vice President commended the crucial role played by the people of West Darfur in the Battle of Dignity and their involvement in matters concerning Sudan’s peace and security.
