Khartoum: Secretary-General of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Lieutenant General Dr. Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Yousif stated that holding the International Annual Summit of Leading Institutions in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at this time represents a source of optimism as Sudan advances steadily toward recovery and reconstruction.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the summit's opening session in Port Sudan, Al-Ghali highlighted the destruction caused by the aggression of the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia against the state and its institutions. He expressed gratitude for Sudan being selected to host the summit and emphasized the state's efforts to mobilize available resources to rehabilitate damaged facilities.
Al-Ghali extended an open call to the international community, urging them to contribute to reconstruction and development efforts in Sudan.
The summit, held under the slogan 'An Exceptional Summit for Rebuilding,' gathered officials and representatives from regional and international institutions to explore leveraging CSR initiatives for community development. The event was under the honorary patronage of Ariab Mining Company Director-General and International CSR Ambassador Nasr Al-Din Al-Hussein.
