Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, stated that Sudan's regular forces are united with the Sudanese people to end the rebellion decisively. He emphasized that the state is committed to preventing any future insurgency, asserting that any leniency will be met with firm and decisive action.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Burhan expressed these views during the graduation ceremony of the 22nd qualifying intake of the General Intelligence Service. The event was attended by the Director-General of the Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal. Al-Burhan praised the agency's personnel for their role in the 'Battle of Dignity' and their support for the Armed Forces.
Al-Burhan also commended the loyalty of the General Intelligence Service, reaffirming the determination of the Armed Forces to restore security and stability in the country. He declared that 'the rebellion is destined to vanish.'
The TSC President noted that the oath taken by the graduates increases their responsibility to safeguard the country's unity and resources. He highlighted the importance of shared responsibility in security, given the real threats facing Sudan.
The Commander-in-Chief paid tribute to Sudan's martyrs, wished a speedy recovery to the wounded, and expressed hope for the safe return of prisoners and missing persons. He affirmed that their sacrifices remain a vital source of strength for the Sudanese people and the Armed Forces in achieving victory.
