Head of Al-Hilal Delegation to South Africa Commends Sudanese Diplomacy in Support of Clubs

Pretoria: Secretary-General of Al-Hilal Club and Head of its delegation to South Africa, Dr. Hassan Ali Issa, has commended the role of Sudanese diplomacy in supporting national sports clubs abroad. Dr. Issa expressed his appreciation to the Sudanese Ambassador to South Africa, Osman Abu Fatima, and embassy staff for the warm reception and generous hospitality extended to Sudan's representative.According to Sudan News Agency, the Al-Hilal delegation, currently in South Africa, accepted the Ambassador's invitation earlier on Saturday before departing for the Rwandan capital, Kigali, to compete in the fourth round of the CAF Champions' League group stage. Al-Hilal recorded a positive result on Friday, holding South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns to a 2-2 draw in Pretoria.
