Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, on Saturday paid an inspection visit to Al-Naw Teaching Hospital in Omdurman, where he was received by the hospital’s Director, Dr. Jamal Al-Tayib.
According to Sudan News Agency, TSC President toured the hospital’s wards and departments, reviewing the level of health services and medical care being provided to patients. He conveyed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the pivotal role and substantial efforts of the medical and health personnel at the hospital, who continue to deliver healthcare services and provide emergency treatment to the wounded amid the difficult circumstances facing Sudan.
TSC President also extended his congratulations to Dr. Jamal Al-Tayib, Director of Al-Naw Teaching Hospital in Omdurman, on receiving the 2025 Aurora Humanitarian Award, in recognition of his outstanding efforts and dedication in providing medical and healthcare services to citizens in Khartoum State during the war.
