Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, on Tuesday sent a message of condolence to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the victims of the Turkish military cargo plane crash on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Al-Burhan conveyed, on behalf of the government and people of Sudan, his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Turkish people over this tragic incident, which claimed the lives of 20 people.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Burhan expressed deep sorrow and shock upon receiving the news of the Turkish Air Force cargo plane crash, which resulted in the loss of several Turkish military personnel. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the Turkish people, praying for Almighty Allah’s mercy upon the deceased. Al-Burhan concluded his message with the words, ‘To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.’
