TSC President Al-Burhan Assesses Efforts of Sudanese Electricity Distribution Company

Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, inspected the Sudanese Electricity Distribution Company on Tuesday, focusing on the company's initiatives for a stable electricity supply.

According to Sudan News Agency, General Al-Burhan was welcomed by Engineer Montasir Abdelrahman Al-Sheikh, the company's General Manager. During the visit, Al-Sheikh provided insights into the company's current operations and potential progress within the electricity sector, aimed at ensuring a reliable power supply for citizens.

General Al-Burhan expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the company's staff in maintaining a steady electricity supply despite the prevailing challenging circumstances in the country. He encouraged the team to continue their work to create conducive conditions for citizens' return to Khartoum.

Engineer Hani Saad Ibrahim, Director of the General Electricity Distribution Administration in Khartoum State, presented a detailed briefing on the sector's operations, challenges, and obstacles. He underscored the administration's dedication to improving electricity stability, facilitated by the availability of technical resources and the commitment of the workforce. Ibrahim highlighted that these efforts are expected to enhance the electricity supply soon, aiding the voluntary return of citizens.
