Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Eng. Ibrahim Jabir, met today at his office in Khartoum with Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris. The meeting reviewed developments in the country and underscored the necessity of complementing official roles to devise appropriate solutions to overcome prevailing challenges, while creating a conducive environment to facilitate the return of citizens. According to Sudan News Agency, Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris commended the significant and constructive role played by the Higher Committee for Preparing the Environment for Return to Khartoum State, highlighting its efforts to restore normal life, deliver essential services, and consolidate security in the capital, Khartoum. The Prime Minister further affirmed the executive government's determination to press ahead with supporting service delivery efforts, rehabilitating the electricity sector, and safeguarding citizens' security. Dr. Kami l Idris called upon Sudanese nationals at home and abroad to continue voluntary return to the national capital and other secure states, in light of the sustained improvement in security and humanitarian conditions.
