Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nowara Abu Mohamed, commended the significant efforts exerted by the Sudanese Women's General Union in supporting the Sudanese Armed Forces and allied forces in the 'Battle of Dignity.'According to Sudan News Agency, during her meeting with a union delegation, Dr. Nowara reviewed projects and programs aimed at reinforcing stability and entrenching peace values across Sudan's states.For her part, Union Chairwoman Ahlam Mohamed Ibrahim stated that Dr. Nowara welcomed sponsoring a women's cultural creativity festival in support of peace. She added that the union is also organizing a Rural Women Award as part of its plans to empower women and activate their developmental role.She further disclosed preparations for a humanitarian convoy to the Blue Nile Region, involving nine states, to support the armed and regular forces and assist affected families.
