Khartoum: The Sudatel Telecommunications Group announced record financial performance for the fiscal year 2025, recording its highest operating income since inception and a net profit of USD 117.5 million.
According to Sudan News Agency, in a press statement issued Sunday, the company said its consolidated financial results for the year ending December 31, 2025, reflected significant growth across key indicators.
Chief Executive Officer Magdi Taha stated that the group generated revenues of USD 452.5 million, marking an increase of 19%, and reaching its highest level in eight years, surpassing pre-war benchmarks.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose to USD 235.7 million, with a margin of 52%, an increase of three percentage points, achieving the highest operating income in the company's history.
Net income climbed to USD 117.5 million with a profit margin of 26%, while earnings per share increased sixfold, driven by operational discipline and execution resilience that contributed to the strongest financial performance in eight years.
The group also reported a substantial improvement in its financial position during 2025. Non-current assets rose to USD 1.21 billion compared to USD 576 million previously, while shareholders' equity grew significantly to USD 766 million compared to USD 104.7 million.
The company attributed this sharp increase in equity to a direct revaluation of non-current assets, reflecting a more accurate representation of the current market value of its infrastructure base.
The statement also noted that despite operating in a highly complex environment, the subsidiary 'Sudani' achieved a net income of USD 137.4 million while maintaining an EBITDA margin of 65%, reflecting a strong level of operational efficiency sustained by the group.
