Doha: Sudan is participating with a high-level delegation, headed by Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Saif Al-Nasr Al-Tijani Haroun, in the 42nd Arab Housing and Reconstruction Ministers Council and the 6th Arab Ministerial Forum on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development, held in Doha, Qatar during 14-16 of the current December under the theme: 'Urban Sustainability for the Future of Generations.'
According to Sudan News Agency, the delegation includes senior officials and urban planning experts, highlighting Sudan's commitment to contributing to regional policies on sustainable urban development.
Under Qatar's patronage, the events bring together Arab states and regional partners to discuss housing, urban, social, and economic development, share best practices, and strengthen Arab cooperation.
Sudan aims to showcase its urban vision, reconstruction priorities, and infrastructure projects, while exploring partnerships, investments, and international expertise for sustainable urban growth.
The delegation actively participates in ministerial sessions and technical dialogues, presenting a comprehensive national strategy to advance Sudan's urban planning and foster effective regional and international collaboration.
