Khartoum: The Sudan Football Association (SFA) Media Secretariat announced that applications for Sudanese media to cover the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico will open on January 26, 2026. Eligible journalists and photographers will apply under FIFA's accreditation rules, and successful candidates will be selected through an electronic draw to ensure transparency and fairness.
According to Sudan News Agency, Atif Ahmed Al-Sayid, Director of the Media Secretariat, affirmed the SFA's commitment to impartial distribution and said Technical Support Officer Engineer Arif Abdel-Gadir Taj-Eddin will assist applicants. He also praised the Association's leadership-President Dr. Mutasim Jafar Sir Al-Khatim, First Vice President Osama Ata Al-Mannan Hassan, and Secretary-General Magdi Shams-Eddin-for supporting fair access for all media professionals.
