Merowe: Transitional Sovereignty Council member, Professor Abdullah Yahya Ahmed, inspected the progress of work on the Merowe Dam during his visit yesterday to the Northern State. His Excellency received a comprehensive briefing from Engineer Hani Abdullah Al-Sadiq, Director of the Merowe Dam Reservoir, on the work in the various sections of the dam, the storage capacity, and the volume of electricity generation in its various stages.
According to Sudan News Agency, the member of the Sovereignty Council had launched a support convoy for displaced people in the city of Al-Dabba, accompanied by the governor of the Northern State.
