Khartoum: The Wali of the River Nile State, Dr. Mohamed Al-Badwi Abugruon, reaffirmed the state’s full readiness and preparedness to receive all individuals seeking refuge from the horrors of war.
According to Sudan News Agency, this announcement was made during a meeting with the General Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid (HAC), Salwa Adam Beniya, at the Wali’s office. The meeting was also attended by the State Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, Afaf Taj Al-Sir.
The Wali of River Nile welcomed the General Commissioner’s visit and provided a detailed briefing on the state’s efforts to host displaced persons (IDPs), including the latest arrivals from El-Fashir following the brutal violations committed by the terrorist Dagalo militia. He noted that the state has been consistently receiving all newcomers since the start of the rebellion, ensuring hosting, shelter, and the provision of all essential needs.
