Qatar Museums Unveils Comprehensive June Program of Exhibitions and Activities

Doha: Qatar Museums (QM) has unveiled its public program for June, offering an extensive array of workshops, exhibitions, family activities, and masterclasses across its museums and creative spaces in Doha. According to Qatar News Agency, the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) is emphasizing creativity in its visitor experience with activities designed for families and young visitors. Museum Bingo, scheduled for June 8 and 15 in Gallery 2, will engage participants aged 8 to 14 in exploring the museum's collection through an interactive Bingo challenge. In addition, the Gahwa Saturday program on June 20 will feature Ocean Stickers Aquarium, allowing children aged 3 to 12 to create paper aquariums inspired by the museum's collection. The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) will host a varied program throughout June. Highlights include Planet Kids Club: Ancient History, Dinosaurs on June 6 for children aged 5 to 11, and storytelling sessions like Saturday Story Time: Yara, My Friend from Syria on June 13 for children ag ed 3 to 8. The museum will also continue its Arabic calligraphy workshops and offer Watercolor Painting for Adults from June 21 to 24. The MIA Library will feature a Film Club screening on June 28 and a Book Club session on June 29. Family Day: Wonders of Nature will conclude the month's events on June 30. Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art is set to present an engaging program featuring Public Guided Tours: Resolutions, Evolving Realities, and Art Lessons with Ismail Azzam. On June 7, the Mathaf Design Circle: Hassan Fathy Edition will gather designers and creatives. Additional workshops include Drawtastic, Mirror Portrait, Voice and Presence Art, and Growing Shadow activities. In sports, the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (3-2-1 QOSM) will celebrate with World Cup Celebration! events on June 19, 20, 26, and 27, featuring trivia competitions and craft workshops. The museum will also host the 321 Cultural Olympiad 2026 Exhibition and Olympic Day: Move and Discover on June 22. Meanwhile, M7 will suppor t emerging creatives through the Fundamentals of a Fashion Business Masterclass from June 7 to 10. The Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar will continue its "Be With Us" Exhibition until June 16.
