Khartoum: The Office of the Prime Minister, Professor Kamil Idris, has denied the false and misleading information published by Azmi Abdel-Razig and the website Sky Sudan, describing it as inaccurate and deliberately deceptive, serving agendas hostile to the nation and its citizens.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Office clarified that the information circulated is untrue and aligns with the media narrative of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, its supporters, and its hostile networks, which continue to work tirelessly to undermine the country and its leadership.
The Office affirmed that the Prime Minister, Professor Kamil Idris, is in excellent health and has traveled abroad on official duties. He continues to follow developments in the country with meticulous attention, around the clock, both from within and outside Sudan. He remains in constant communication with the country’s leadership – His Excellency President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC)- as well as members of the government and state institutions.
Professor Kamil Idris is expected to return to the country at the end of the week.
The Prime Minister’s Office further stated that such negative and malicious publications by certain paid writers only strengthen the government’s resolve, unity, and determination to serve the proud Sudanese people.
The Office confirmed that legal action will be taken against those involved and against the fake platforms, and called upon all patriotic writers to support the national issues that serve the interests of the country and its people.
