Prime Minister of Qatar Engages in Diplomatic Call with Egyptian Foreign Minister

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty. The conversation focused on the cooperation relations between Qatar and Egypt, exploring ways to support and strengthen these ties.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion also delved into mediation efforts between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The leaders talked about coordinating efforts to support mediation aimed at reducing regional escalation, which would contribute to enhancing security and stability.

During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of all parties responding positively to ongoing mediation efforts. He highlighted that such engagement could pave the way for addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, ultimately leading to a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
