Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris on Thursday visited the Ministry of Justice following its resumption of duties in the capital, Khartoum, to review the progress of work. He commended the Ministry's sustained role in entrenching the rule of law and strengthening security across all states of Sudan.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the visit, the Prime Minister inspected the practical and logistical arrangements undertaken by the Ministry of Justice, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to stabilize security in Khartoum State and create conducive conditions for citizens to return to their homes. He affirmed that safeguarding the security and livelihoods of citizens throughout Sudan remains the foremost priority of the Government of Hope.
In a press statement, Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Dirif said that he briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of work at the Ministry and ongoing efforts to regularize the status of its employees. He noted that all directorates and units of the Ministry of Justice have resumed their duties from the capital.
Dr. Dirif added that he received the Prime Minister's directives regarding the Ministry's work in coordination with the competent authorities during the forthcoming period, stressing that these measures will contribute to restoring stability and facilitating the return of citizens to their homes across all states of Sudan.
