Kadugli: Prime Minister Kamil Idris strongly condemned the drone strike carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) terrorist militia on United Nations premises in Kadugli, describing it as a grave breach of UN facility protections and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. He stressed that targeting a UN-protected facility represents a serious escalation and criminal conduct tantamount to an organized terrorist act, revealing deliberate disregard for international law and posing a direct threat to humanitarian and international missions.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister held the RSF fully responsible for the attack and called on the United Nations, the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and all people of conscience worldwide to take firm and deterrent action to protect UN facilities, humanitarian workers, civilians, and essential civilian infrastructure, and to ensure perpetrators are held accountable under international law.
He emphasized that the rebel militia meets all criteria of a terrorist organization, given its persistent and blatant violations of international norms, laws, and humanitarian values.
