Khartoum: Prime Minister Kamil Idris held discussions on Wednesday in Khartoum on a range of issues of mutual interest between the executive and judicial branches of government. This meeting underscored the ongoing dialogue between the two branches, aiming to enhance their collaboration for the benefit of the nation.
According to Sudan News Agency, the discussions took place during a meeting with Deputy Chief Justice Munir Mohammed Al-Hassan. In a press briefing following the meeting, the Deputy Chief Justice emphasized that the discussions reaffirmed the independence of the judiciary. He highlighted the importance of bolstering coordination and communication between the executive and judicial branches to effectively serve the interests of citizens and promote the public good.
