Online Platform for Voluntary Repatriation Registration Launched at Sudanese Embassy in Cairo

Cairo: The Sudanese Embassy in Cairo has announced the launch of an online platform aimed at facilitating the registration and organization of voluntary repatriation convoys for Sudanese refugees residing in Cairo. This development is part of the efforts of the Al-Amal (Hope) Committee for Voluntary Return.

According to Sudan News Agency, the launch event was attended by notable figures including Sudan's Ambassador to Egypt, Imad-Eddin Adawi, his deputy Omer Al-Farouq, and Military Adviser Amin Ismail Majzoub. Ambassador and artist Ali Mahdi was also present at the event. The Chairman of the Al-Amal Committee, Mohamed Wada'a, along with committee members Muntasir Omar, Ayman Abu Al-Wafa, Mohamed Abbas, and Asim Al-Bilal, participated in the launch.

The initiative is a part of the comprehensive preparations to commence repatriation convoys following the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. The newly launched platform offers a streamlined registration process for individuals seeking voluntary return. It outlines the conditions necessary to ensure the organized transport of returnees.

The website, accessible via www.amalcommittee.com, also encourages collaboration by providing spaces for volunteering, receiving feedback, and lodging complaints. Additionally, it hosts a fully integrated media center to enhance communication and engagement with partners.

For those interested in using the platform, the process involves selecting the application type (individual or family), accurately completing the required information, and attaching necessary documents like a passport copy or national number and medical reports for special cases. Applicants are advised to keep their application number for tracking purposes. The registration service is available 24/7, ensuring accessibility at all times.
