Northern state: The Commissioner of the Humanitarian Aid Commission in Northern State, Dr. Wael Mohamed Sharif, assessed the activities and interventions of Relief International during a meeting with the organization's Water and Sanitation Officer, Engineer Mohamed Mo'tasim.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting addressed the organization's efforts within the emergency response program at the displaced persons camp in the Al-Affad area of Al-Dabah locality. The discussions focused on initiatives related to protection, water, and sanitation.
The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner commended Relief International for its interventions aimed at supporting displaced persons. He highlighted the importance of ongoing coordination and collaboration between the Commission and the organization.
Mohamed Mo'tasim stated that plans are underway to add several latrines and install water networks within the camp, further enhancing the living conditions for the displaced population.
