Dongola: Wali of Northern State, Lt. Gen. Abdelrahman Abdelhamid Ibrahim, inaugurated a surgery and orthopedics division and a diagnostic complex at Dongola Military Hospital, as part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects by the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Wali praised the company's role in supporting development and service delivery, noting the rapid and high-quality completion of the facilities.
Company Director General Mohamed Tahir Omar affirmed continued implementation of development projects, revealing that total CSR investments across Sudan exceeded $37 million this year.
Hospital Director Brig. Dr. Asim Arabi described the new facilities as a major upgrade, increasing capacity to 120 beds and significantly enhancing medical services.
