Khartoum: Munazzamat Al Dawah Al Islamiyah: Munazzamat Al Dawah Al Islamiyah (MADA), the Islamic Call Organization, announced the launch of its Ramadan Iftar Project for the year 1447 AH, to be implemented through its offices in Somalia, Gambia, Sudan, South Sudan, Chad, and Nigeria, as part of its humanitarian efforts aimed at supporting underprivileged families, internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and the most vulnerable groups during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Sudan News Agency, the project seeks to provide daily Iftar meals and Ramadan food baskets, contributing to easing living burdens on thousands of families and fostering the values of solidarity and compassion within communities, particularly in light of the economic and humanitarian conditions facing some of these countries.
The organization affirmed that the implementation of the project comes as a continuation of its seasonal programs, which it is keen to deliver annually in partnership with donors, philanthropists, and benefactors. It commended the significant role played by its partners in ensuring the success of these humanitarian initiatives.
The MADA also called on philanthropists and charitable institutions to continue supporting Ramadan projects to help expand the number of beneficiaries and achieve a deeper humanitarian impact during the blessed month.
