Khartoum: The Chamber of Goldsmiths and Gold Traders in Khartoum State has reaffirmed its commitment to cooperate with security authorities and state agencies. This collaboration is part of efforts aimed at reconstruction and rebuilding, with the Chamber recognizing its role as a significant economic contributor to the state.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Chamber held a celebration at its Omdurman headquarters, honoring the Joint Patrol Force in Karari locality. The event was attended by Police Major General Khalid Hamdallah, Director of Karari Locality Police, and Chamber members. The Chamber emphasized that security responsibilities are shared among all stakeholders, urging companies, factories, and showroom owners to resume operations and assist in the reconstruction efforts necessitated by the war’s impact.
The Chamber commended the swift and responsible actions of the competent authorities, highlighting the professionalism and alertness of security services. Professor Abdul Aziz Mohammed Othman, Director of Media for the Chamber, called on members to engage transparently with security agencies to support security and stability efforts.
During the event, the Chamber honored the security and police agencies, including the joint patrol in Karari locality and the Federal Investigation Division, acknowledging their contributions to maintaining safety and order.
