Khartoum: The Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Ahmed Adam Ahmed, has announced the formation of a new Board of Directors for the Youth and Sports Activities Support Fund. This decision aligns with the Youth and Sports Support Act of 2002 and effectively revokes the previous board setup, bringing in a fresh structure from the date of signing.
According to Sudan News Agency, the newly constituted board is led by Dr. Hassan Mohamed Abdullah Al-Zarouq as Chairman, with Engineer Ezz-Eddin Al-Hajj Hassan Abdelrazig serving as the Rapporteur. The board comprises several members, including Prof. Awad Yasin, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Kamal Hassan Kamel, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Al-Fadil Al-Juzouli Mustafa Hakim, and Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Hassan Osman Hassan. Additional members include Al-Fadil Hassan Mohamed Hassan Abu Shanab, Tarig Abdelsalam Diab, Sami Adam Sharif, Sharif Fadl Al-Mawla Al-Sadig, Jamal Mohamed Abdullah Al-Wali, Sabri Sharif Al-Khandaqawi, Mohamed Sabeel Mahdi Sabeel, and Hussein Mohamed Hassan.
The board's responsibilities involve developing policies to support youth and sports activities, implementing state policies, enhancing infrastructure, promoting sports investment, and strengthening international partnerships with relevant organizations.
