Khartoum: Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Dirif arrived in Khartoum State on Sunday. He was received by the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, at the General Secretariat of the State Government.
According to Sudan News Agency, the purpose of Dr. Dirif’s visit was to evaluate the condition of judicial institutions and to strategize the rebuilding of structures damaged by the war, in preparation for the return to their main headquarters. Wali Hamza stated that the visit aims to facilitate the reopening and operation of the Commercial Registry in Khartoum, which will play a crucial role in safeguarding the interests of the citizens and aiding the normalization of daily life. He underscored the state’s continuous efforts to restore normalcy and rebuild, which he equated to a struggle of great significance.
Hamza further mentioned that despite facing challenging circumstances, the state has succeeded in reinstating services and announcing the Government of Hope. This development has i
nstilled optimism among the Sudanese people, who hold high aspirations for the future.
Dr. Dirif expressed his contentment with the visit, highlighting the achievement of security and stability in Khartoum State and the restoration of its sovereignty and dignity, made possible by the sacrifices of the armed forces and other regular forces. He affirmed a commitment to continue the path initiated by the martyrs and to complete their mission.
The Minister of Justice commended the Wali of Khartoum State for his resilience and decision to remain with the forces during the Battle of Dignity. This presence, according to Dr. Dirif, significantly contributed to boosting citizens’ confidence and restoring hope for the resumption of essential services. He pledged that the ministry would exert maximum effort to achieve its objectives through its specialized bodies, dedicated to serving justice.
