Ad-damar: Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Dirif arrived in the capital of River Nile State, Ad-Damar, where he was received by the Wali of River Nile State, Dr. Mohamed El-Badawi Abdel-Majid, along with several ministers and state officials.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Wali stated in press statements that the Minister of Justice listened to reports from all security and judicial bodies, separately. Dr. Mohamed El-Badawi Abdel-Majid noted that the Minister praised the state’s security efforts and the arrangements made to protect the state from infiltration by rebels. The Minister commended the preemptive and preventive operations against sleeper cells, fifth columns, and foreign presence, as well as the solutions addressing informal housing and negative phenomena.
In his remarks, the Minister of Justice emphasized that he had reviewed the security and judicial situation in the state through meetings with competent parties. He highlighted the significant role played by relevant organs during the influx of newcomers to River Nile State from war-affected regions and acknowledged the substantial security efforts exerted to restore stability in the area.
Furthermore, the Minister held a meeting with the state’s Legal Administration, during which he received detailed reports from relevant departments. He also inspected the new administration building, currently in its final stages of construction.
