Khartoum: Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Dirif met with the Head of the Military Judiciary, Lt. Gen. (Legal) Mahdi Abdelrahman Mohamed, in his office on Monday. The meeting was also attended by the Attorney General of the Republic of Sudan and Head of the Legal Sector, Ala'a-Eddin Ahmed Al-Sayid, and Major (Legal) Mohamed Ibrahim Ali.
According to Sudan News Agency, the discussions centered on the legal services provided by the Ministry of Justice to state institutions. The meeting reviewed strategies to enhance coordination and cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the military judiciary, aiming to expedite legal procedures. Particular focus was given to claims and the granting of permission to litigate in petitions before the courts, as well as handling civil lawsuits across various judicial levels.
The meeting also covered several related legal issues, underscoring the Ministry of Justice's significant role in overseeing the state's legal affairs.
