Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir, has received congratulations on the centenary of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the seventy-first anniversary of the Sudanization of the commandership from a delegation of the native administration in Khartoum State. The delegation was headed by the Nazir (Chieftain) of Al-Qurayyat, Mujaddid Ali Mujaddid, and included the attendance of the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, along with several commanders from the state’s security organs.
According to Sudan News Agency, the delegation, through the Assistant Commander-in-Chief, conveyed congratulations to the Commander-in-Chief, his deputy and assistants, the Chief of Staff and his deputies, and commanders of the armed forces and their supporting forces in the Battle of Dignity. These congratulations were extended on the occasion of Army Day and the successive victories achieved on various battlefronts in Sudan.
In his response, TSC Member expressed gratitude to the leaderships of the Native Administration and the citizens of Khartoum State for their support and assistance to the armed forces. This support was crucial in overcoming the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and restoring security and stability across the state.
Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir also emphasized the importance of the efforts made by the High Committee to create a suitable environment for the return of citizens to Khartoum State, ensuring the provision of essential services and maintaining security. He further announced that the upcoming phase of development would not be restricted to urban areas but would also include the rural regions of Khartoum State.
Nazir of Al-Qurayyat, Mujaddid Ali Mujaddid, representing the Native Administration delegation, stated that the meeting addressed various issues concerning the citizens of Khartoum State. These discussions focused on the security situation and the provision of services, with a goal of improving the state’s condition beyond its previous state. He urged citizens to return and participate in reconstruction efforts.
