Quneitra: Israeli occupation forces arrested four Syrian young men after infiltrating into the northern countryside of Quneitra in recent hours, setting up a checkpoint on the road between the town of Jbata al-Khashab and Ain al-Bayda village.
According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli force consisting of five military vehicles set up a checkpoint at the al-Kasarat junction on the road between Jbata al-Khashab and Ain al-Bayda. The troops searched passers-by before arresting four young men from Jbata and transferring them to the al-Hamidiyah point, according to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
Earlier, an Israeli force had advanced into the area surrounding Tal al-Ahmar al-Sharqi in the southern countryside of Quneitra and raised its flag over the site.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by advancing into southern Syria and committing violations against civilians through raids, arbitrary arrests, and forced displacement, in addition to destroying property and bulldozing agricultural lands.
